Unfortunitly LT1's don't seem to be going for a lot now days.

I'm thinking you'll make more money by selling the nitrous kit by itself. You can scare off a lot of buyers when they see a nitrous kit installed. First thing they'll think is that the car is abused. Nitrous has been given a very bad name.

Good idea, local boards are always the best since they can easily check the car out and don't have to worry about shipping.

its a tough call- i would say that if the body and interior are perfect, you should be able to fetch at least 5.5k. Some might think this is high, but if I am going to buy a car like that I want to make sure its worth it. An immaculate interior tells me that more than likely the car was well taken care of.

Exactly $7,641.52 .......

It's kinda hard to say without being able to see the car. (Pictures would certainly help) You do list a lot of things though that I personally have knowledge of that cost quite a bit. The mileage isn't all that bad for what year it is considering it's much lower than the national average. If you take the total cost of what you paid for the modifications and cut it in half, that's about what you could expect to add to what you think the car itself is worth.

I know that wheels & tires aren't cheap these days as well as aftermarket hoods w/paint and new clutches etc..etc! Stereo systems can be expensive too but you have to find someone who's really into music for that to really matter. The extras that you have are very cool items but it still takes quite a bit of work & money to get that stuff installed. I think you'd be better off selling that stuff seperate from the car,... cause some people might not even care about those things and wouldn't be willing to pay extra for them.

It's definitely not a good time to try and sell a car right now with the cold weather, so that could really factor into what you'll get if you do have to sell it now. There's a lot of things to factor into this to really be able to give you an honest opinion of value. I could say I'd sell it for close to 7K but it really wouldn't matter......you're only going to get what someone is willing to pay you for it.

I wouldn't sell my Z28 for a penny less than 15K......and that's because of everything that factors into what I have and everything I have into it. Very few people would be willing to spend that much for a modified '96 Z28, but that's what it would take for me to sell my car. It's less than half of what I paid out of my pocket but still, people want to pay as little for a car as possible. I'd say it will probably take that special group of people that understand the cost of modifications to pay you what it's worth. If none of them happen to be looking for exactly what you have to sell right now, I'd say Joe's really close to what you could probably get for it. (5.5 - 6K maybe)

What I'd do is look up the NADA value of it,......then add up what you have into all your "installed" mods, cut that in half, add it to the NADA value and see where you're at. Look at what similar cars are going for on "Traderonline.com"

Just my .02 worth........................or should I say $2.00 worth. Man that was a long reply!
