Unfortunately, it is now time for me to sell my 1994 Mazda Mx3 BPT, a car that i took great care of for the last 6 years. This car already comes with great characteristics such as great handling, reliability and a nice look!

On my side, all i wanted to do was eliminate the weak points while keeping the stock appearence the car had. The car as it sits makes around 230-250hp (flywheel) which is more than enough for this size car. It would be fair to say that acceleration is very similar to many much more expensive cars such as the m3 and base model 911 porsches.

The car was maintained very maticulously and although there are some imperfections that come with age, it is still a great car that is still reliable even with all this power. I have to say this has a great drivetrain that has not given me one single problem since i've owned the car. The car now has 210 000km on the clock (bought at 82k) and the engine has approximately 140-160 000km. The BPT drivetrain did most of its mileage on the highway between Toronto and Quebec City.

1.8L BPT GTX (longnose crank 93-94)
ECU bp55/bp26 (mapping/bpt ecu)
VAF bp26 (bpt stock vaf)
Protegé GT 1.8 Transmission(synchros were changed during the swap,motul syncro mesh oil)
new NGK spark plug wires / new spark plugs
Crank/cam seals/timing belt changed for the swap (all mazda parts)
Custom Clutch – Ceramic/Organic (20 000km, stock driveability)
Intercooler - Front Mount Talon First Gen
K&N Pod filter
2.5 inch exhaus w/dynomax muffler
Always ran on Motul 8100 X-cess 5w40 w/Fram filter at 5000km intervals! 

KYB GR-2 Shock Front/rear
Hawk HP-S Pads new (100 km of use)

There are many new parts on the car (bearing, stabilizer bar, ball joint etc) This car has never let me down, it is reliable and will do 450km on a tank in the city and 600km on the highway which makes it quite economical. It's really sad to let it go however i have wanted a miata for a long time and now is the chance for me to get one and take advantage of the nice weather!
