¿will a 3.8 engine fit in a camaro with a 3.4?

i have a 1995 3.4 Camaro and i am thinking about buying another Camaro without an engine but i want to put a 3.8, not a 3.4 into it. but i want to know if the engines will swap easily and if it can fit, how much work and what type of modifications would have to be done? so basically can i put a 3.8 engine into a 3.4 Camaro ? thanx.....

they put 3.8 in 1996 camaro which is the same as a 1995 which had the 3.4. Honestly i can not give you a definate answer but i would say it is possible. Transmission may run you into trouble though i don't know

Its the same exact body style, so youre not going to have fitment issues.

It will fit in the car, but the transmission will not bolt up. If you have a 5 speed you could probably get the correct bellhousing. If its an A4, you will need a trans that will bolt to the 3.8.

The 3.8 is a 90 degree V6, it uses thae same belhousing design as a SBC. The 3.4 is a 60 degree V6, it has a much narrower bellhousing.

I am pretty sure that you will also have to get the correct wiring and ECM for a 3.8.
Are you getting a deal on a 3.8?

You may be able to swap a v8 into the car for thae same amount as putting in a 6 that was not origionally in the car.
