Angry 2000 v6 HELP PLEASE!!!!!

ok guys here is the deal. my wife has a 2000 camaro v6 with about 70k on it.
i took it to the local cottman transmission place and they told me that the problem is not tranny related.

the asr light keeps coming on and off randomly. also the car will not go above 35 mph. also the SES light is on. the codes are:

p0301-cylinder 1 misfire detected
p0405-EGR Flow sensor A circuit low input
p0756- Shift solenoid B CKT performance or stuck off

my main questions are these:
1. where is the EGR Flow sensor?
2. i was told that there is a tsb out for the shift solenoid saying that it is most likely not the solenoid. i changed the fluid and fillter about a month ago and also changed the solenoid.
3. what would keep the car from going over 35 mph?

thanks in advance-

First - EGR usually will not change anything, and would not cause any of the problems you are talking about. The sensor is located on top of the EGR.

Second - Im assuming this is an A4, so if its not going above 35, is it just going to really high rpm and not shifting?

phate- what do you mean a4? it is an automatic if that is what you mean. but usually it wont rev above 2k while driving. and when it is in park i have to mash it to get it over 2k and it only goes to about 2200 rpm

a4 = automatic 4 (gears)

Theres a rev limiter in park... not 2200, but rev in neutral instead.

i rev'd it in neutral and got the same results. i want to run the POS into a wall but it wont go fast enough to total it!!! we had a '94 camaro v6 with 60k original on it and the only problem it had was a little oil leak and mild overheating. we are really kicking ourselves in the *** for trading it.

I think you have a combination of problems.

First, a shift sylenoid. And that missfire would cause alot of problems, the first things I would check about that would be the MAF sensor and your plug wires.

Without knowing more, and hearing / driving the car, thats the best real advice I can give.
