check gauges light on, abs inop light on, windows barely go up or down.

car died tonight, i jumped it and it lasted about 10 seconds and died. jumped it again, died. jumped it again and stayed on the throttle, kept it alive a little longer but then it would just die. I unhooked my deck and turned everything off. battery is prob dead too now im guessing? just wanted to see if anyone knew if it is the alternator? also any tricks to getting it out? i tried to get it out before to check it once and i forget what happened but i remember having a problem. any info on removing it is greatly appreciated!

more than likely it's alternator, but a bad battery can do that also (if it's under 12 vilts the alternator shuts down to protect itself)

it was the alternator. i put a new one in the next day and she runs fine! easy install too. thanks.
