Depends on what kinda u want if you a quiet deep exhaust no its not best. If you want loud and deep its the best.

Do you have headers or cam with ur set-up slvr6?

So basically if I get some high-flow cat, a Rumbler catback, and maybe a cutout, ill be set with a nice loud deep tone?

(headin out right now, so ill check back tonight)

It's 50 state legal right? ... It's not just for Texas is it? :P ... The picture sure doesn't look like it has any sort of muffler on it.

Does anyone know if it's about same gains as a magnaflow or flowmaster? ... Or are all catbacks about the same?

yes its 50 state legal, and depends are you talkin about a magnaflow muffler and flowmaster muffler? or complete cat-backs? I would think if they were all full cats you would get around the same depends on the piping size and if u have a stock cat and headers.

Did you buy the catback with tips? ... Which package did you buy Silver6? The package without tips is pretty dang cheap. Toss that on my car with maybe a high-flow cat and im good with a loud deep tone?

One last thing *swears he's asked this 4 times* ... Are headers worth the power/sound for the money? And I can always install them later on right?

Yes headers are worth it and you dont have to have the tips the exhaust ends under the car anyways well just at the end of the car but it doesnt stick out at all. mine came with the tips.

Im also looking to improve the sound of my 3.4L v6 by changing the muffler, i cant afford to buy a full system. I was thinking of getting a magnaflow universal muffler (part # 12265) http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=479 it looks like the same muffler they use in the magnaflow performance exhaust system for the 3.4s http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/parts/15694_lg.jpg. Do you guys think this muffler will help improve the sound ? Thanks for the help!

yes the measurements seem correct. I've pondered on whether to change to a full 3" system instead of 2.5. with headers. This seems to be the debate for the v6's.
