630hp camaro
wow i was working yesterday and the neighbor pulled out a 35th anniversary ss convertible but this car was crazy. it was not a normal ss. It was 1 of 50 cars that chevy made and i think it was the most powerful chevy camaro convertible ever. It had 630 naturally asperated horsepower. This car was unbelievable. He bought it from chevy this way.

what?
I never saw any car gm sold with that much power, their big block car barely hit that and was no where near emissions legal so it sits in gm's toybox
could it be 1 of those berger or ZL1 cars??

berger is only 435hp(I like that only) |
You think maby he was bsing you?
Maybe he modded it himself.
Only 600+HP cars that came from GM, or its affiliates, are the ZL1 Phase III's, with the 427 C5R motor |
Basically....your on crack.
im going to the same job next week ill try to get a pic and more of the specs. He bought it that way. its going to be on the front of a mag not sure which one ill have to find out.
he took his car to some car show i think it was the super chevy car show. I think he won best in class and best in show or something likenmthat
find out the deal... on this car... and get more info! write in down orsomething likethat
It would have to be something pretty stout thats for sure. I built a 408ci Iron LS1 for Chevy High Performance magazine that was 11:1 and hit 592fwhp/551ft-lbs.
I would say for something like this it would need to be a 427 or something of the like. Trying to think if GMMG or anyone did a run of ZL1 type convertibles that had that much power. Certainly attainable in the after market, but not sure the general would sell a car like this. Even in a short run. |
it does have a 427
it pretty much look like a regular 35th anniversary that decked out with a bunch of corvette mods and a 427 dropped into it. He bought it directly from gm that way.
the zl1 did to come with a 600hp option
