My dad finally had a guy come pick up his 1967 Camaro up to start working on it. Now he wants me to do all the research for parts so the guy that picked it up gets good quality parts. The first thing I told my dad was that it is time for a CRATE MOTOR . Trying ro convince him to get a 502 572 or my wet dream the LS7. Other than that I figure Year One for parts mostly. Any suggestions?

yeah year one plus you should look into specalty companies. i know that goodmark always brags about their camaro kits and such but definatly look for someone who is specialized i know it has helped us with research for the malibu

Classic Industries. I have had very good luck with them. Just watch what you buy so you dont get Jap stuff. Also for other auto's like Firebird, Nova, Impalla, even Chev. & GMC trucks.

I avoid year one when possible, they carry the same parts as everyone else just charge more for it. Be careful with classic if they are the only ones that list something it probably doesn't exist (they will show prototype parts for sale when they aren't available yet)

goodmark makes the best aftermarket ones, and prices seem to be pretty consistent, the killer is shipping (when I was going to order the ones for my '75 the shipping was more than both quarters) depending on your location you may be able to pick them up from one of the parts houses. I get catalogs from all of the companies also just to compare prices since one may have a better price on an interior part, and another better on exterior. Check classic, paddock parts, d&r (especially if you want a hard to find part as they actually will sell used stuff too) npd, year one, c.a.r.s inc (that's who I bought my quarters from and they have great customer service)
