Anyone know how much this will cost me.

Depends on who does it. When I was reserching mine I was quoted in the range of $1300-$1600 for a compleate rebuild. I eventually went and just bought a perfromance tranny for about $1700.00 and had a local shop put it in.

well guys, yours are electronic. the 700R4/4L60 isnt. i know it wont make it THAT much cheaper, but still less.

Unfortunatly it won't make that much of a differance. Look at the prices of rebuilts on Ebay for instance. Even for the 700r4 the price is very close to the 96+ 4l60e. Good luck my friend.
