700r4 swap

i have a 1987 i have the 700r4 and im building up a turbo 350 tranny and i need to know do i need the short tail or the long tail thx for your help

archemedes street rep is low. keep going

closest in length is the 9" tailshaft (the turbo 350 had 3 different ones) that puts you within 1/16"

i have the short tail now i olny knew of 2 tails for a turbo 350. so sould i just go get my drive shaft leghten

I am assuming your going to race the car, so I would have a new driveshaft made it's not that expensive

its a race car i just put in sf connectors and a 8pt roll cage we are hoping to go 10.50 in a 1/4 what does a drive shaft normally cost??

depends on if someone local can do it, I have had them made for $100 including balancing, and seen up to $500 for ordering from out of the area
