? about roller rockers

I have to replace my valve cover gaskets so I just figured I should put some roller rockers on while I am in their so I have some questions what is the stock ratio I was thinking 1.6 ratio wil this fit under stock valve covers? also will it a noticable performance gain? http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0231&langId=-1

with just a change to roller rockers you probably won't see much, I don't think a full roller will fit under stock valve covers

i think you would get a little gain and maybe your car will run smoother. YOu can ask jegs if they will fit under the stock covers

dna383 put 1.65 rockers on his car and u could tell it had more torque ... i think im going to be doing it soon soo u know i say yes... i think they will fit... if they dont you can run 2 sets of valve cover gaskets or go to autozone or somehitng a get a cheap set of valve covers....

there are also spacers you can get to raise yours up a little bit and give more clearance i think

sry i know its an old thread but i got 1.65 rollers, you need a tallers valve cover (i got mine at autozone). they appear to fit but there will be a small gap and it will leak oil, i could feel some low end torque increase though.

crane golds work 100 percent, im absolutly sure you do NOT need taller valve covers , can't speak for other rocker arms because the stock cast ones and crane golds are the only set of rockers i used on any center bolt head

i have the old style valve covers (not centerbolt) and the polylocks created a slight (2-3mm) interference issue. i probably could have modified the stock covers but i just got new ones. in Car Craft this month they put comp pro mag rollers on a 91 formula (centerbolts) and they fit with slight modification of the baffling.
