ok...i dont need to get one but i want to get a bigger alternator so it can power my system better...because all my lights are fading a bit, but i want to upgrade to a bigger one than the 105 that is in it now...i was wondering what sizes would fit...because i have seen the 98-02 has a 200 amp alt. for the 5.7L but i dont beleive that that alternator would fit the 3.4...

ok i will answer that in both ways it is being asked...
1.) Why?... Because my system is drawing to much...and its only a 500 watt Explod amp...pushing a 10" bandpass P5...(see Cardomain page for pics)
2.) Are...yes my lights are fading

if their fading because of your system...why dont you just get a cap?

i have planned on it but i also plan on when i get a cap i will have my bigger system in it, with the one in it right now...and i need to run bigger wires from the battery...

the v8 one should be at least adaptable (clocking may be off) but a cap would be cheaper, upgrade ground and power to the battery (you factory body ground is 10 gauge at best many times it's 12 gauge, and gets broken)you want an 8 gauge minimum 9I use a 00 gauge strap) to the body (usually to teh fender)
