2Poor4Z is an unknown quantity at this point
i am running a 160 t-stat (on my v6 that is) and a manual fan controller where i can adjust the temp setting on the fan.. dont know exatly what temp it is set to come on but the car runs right about 185 all the time.. the fans are also wired to run even when the ignition is off for quicker cool down times... i had to play with it for a couple days to get it right.. at first they were running so long that it was killing my battery but ive had it set right now for about 8 months and it works great and never kills the battery even in this hott alabama heat..

throw the stock gauge in the garbage, I can gaurantee you are not running 185 when it says you are (I have yet to find one that was acurate within 10% factory tolerance is 20%)

Their are two different temp sensors on the LT1. One at the water pump and the one the gauge uses is located between the #1 and #3 cylinder. The reading I'm going off of is the sensor the PCM uses that is located at the water pump. So my reading of 180+ is actually dead on.

Looks like it might be sold to another member here, but if not I will list it in 'For Sale' section...

Oh yeah Arch, my temp gauge happens to be dead on with what the ECM reads...
