Which is best?

I've been doing research, but havnt found many options.

I want a turbo for my little 3.8L. Viper, and other turbo'd v6's, what kit do you recommend, what style, size, etc. What good reasons would I have NOT to do it? I already know its gonna cost me 5g or so, even with 100% fab and installation done myself. Just looking for some words of wisdom on the subject.

How many miles do you have on your car? The more miles you have, the more succeptible to breaking something with the new stuff you have from the wear. Just be ready to put more money into internals if you have higher miles.

Thats about all Im good for.

100% rebuilt 3,000 miles ago. Everything except for the block, which has been trued and honed, is brand spankin new. So, 3,000 miles

When your motor was rebuilt- what compression was it built too? Also I'm assuming that you put in good internal pieces. Cast or Hyper parts aren't going to cut it with any amount of boost thats worth putting to your motor.

The v6 guys would be better to recommend the puffing parts, the parts and sizes I know would be a little big for your motor..

Street car. Is still going to need to be a functionable DD for the next year or so. Not looking to break records, just lookin for some boost without having to rely on my nitrous.

When I say 'functionable' DD, I mean, around town, highway doesnt matter, 4.10's already screwed me on that :banghead: lol.

wel first thing first get rid of the 4.10's and get some 3.23's or 3.42's

next you need a kit, maybe find one used or make one
the T60-1 turbo is a great match for DD but give lots of power and great spool.
BOV
wastegate DO NOT CHEAP OUT HERE
maybe boost controler

you will need fuel injectors and tuning and a fuel pump if you dont want to go over ~12 psi you can pick up a used set from a GTP for like $50 and put a walbro in the tank

tuning is the big one ofcoures you need it for the injectors and to adjust the timing

What brands / setup do you recommend? Doesnt have to be the very top of the line, but the best for the money.

And i've still got my stock 3.23's in the box at home..

I literally know little to nothing about v6 turbos. I have no doubt I can fabricate and install a kit, but I just need to know what is good to look for, and what not to.

Is the walboro for the f body any good, the one for the gtp is considered a waste as it doesn't pick up all the fuel (leaves a quarter tank from what the guys on clubgp say) they recommend upgrading the wiring to get full 14 volts to the stock pump.

noone in the gp world will use intense parts (everyone has had issues with them and the low quality, and poor service, not to mention cheating at races)

but if they are promoting it that's where the issue is (I sent an email to zoomer and he still has the stock pump in his car so I figure that must work lol)

What brand do you recommend? piping size? Im guessing 2.5 will be the piping size. I just need to know all the details about the best designed setup for a DD. I know its a hassle viper, but treat me as if all I know is how it works, and have read all the tutorials and basic info on turbo'ing one, now I just need all the little stuff.
