Does anybody know, is Black Chrome a powdercoating?
Or is it dipped?

i always thought it was dipped with like a black finish 1st than chromed for it to come out darker... but i am not sure at all

umm im not sure either.. but what your saying about a black color first, then dipped doesnt make sense to me how that would work.. cause basically the chroming process is all in the prep work of polishing the item first.. the chroming is essentially just like a clear coating of sorts

It's dipped, they put the black coloring in before the wheels are actually dipped into the chrome.
