cant go past 115
this 96 Z28 with a 4spd trans with OD cuts out-revlimiter at 115 the colim goes(4) and a 5spd trans (5) if it helps can go past 115

a chip shood fix this and if im not rong it would be in the computer y it cuts out?

i dont understand most of what you said, but look in the drivers side door, where the latch is where it meets the jam. there will be a listing of RPO codes on a white sticker and then there should be something about tires on it. it will give PSI and weights and crap. if it says soemthing besides "Z rated" tires from the factory, then thats why it wont go above 115. if it didnt have Z rated tires from the factory it has a factory speed limiter. get it deleted from the computer with a basic tune (i think they can do that, ive never needed to tho, so idk)

No to a chip, has to be programmed out. Do you have L1? If not you have 2:73 gears. If your car only goes to 115, then you didn't have Z rated tires when the car was new. Email PCMforless.com or Madz28.com they will help you out.
