car just dies
In my '93 camaro Z-28 automatic the car dies when its low on ampage. I can be siting at a stop light idleing then when i go to drive away the rpm just drops to nothing, (i can't rev it up or let it idle like its starving for fuel) then i can just put the car in nuteral and turn the key to accessory for a few seconds, then try starting it and it will start right up and be just fine. I have a underdrive pully on it so thats why it doesn't charge right when its just idleing. I also have MSD cap & rotor and coil, maroso cold air, eddelbrock hedders and strut tower brace, and eibach lowering kit.

sounds like your running out of voltage, the underdrive pulley is klling it, put the stock one back on. (that's why most of those underdrive pulleys actually lower horsepower, if you don't have enough voltage you don't have the spark for combustion)

I had one on my car before the blower, but took it off since I wouldn't work with the blower pulley. I found that at idle, my gauges and lights would dim down slightly, mainly because the alt isn't spinning fast enough, but once it got going everything seemed fine. Anything above 1500 rpm and the voltage regulator should kick in and maintain the proper voltage.
