ok well the cars been outta commission for awhile because it needed rotors, a maf and a fuel pump. $850 later all that got replaced and i got it back on the road. about 10 min into my cruise it starts buckin and hesitating and ****. i'm like wtf. it felt like a misfire to me but i wasn't sure so i took it to the shop and they hooked it up to the scanmaster. sure enough 3 cylinders are misfiring so now i gotta get the d@mn thing tuned up. will the madness ever end?

when a maf or fuel pump goes bad you should always do a tune up anyway

Sorry to hear your troubles..

Did you do the fuel pump yourself? If so, I don't think replacin wires and coil would be that hard. The car didn't throw codes did it? Hopefully its just your wires and/or plugs and not the opti!! But from the way it sounds I would lean more towards wires or plugs since it was only three and not all eight.

nah i had a shop do the fuel pump and they're gonna tune it up also. i asked them if it was the opti but the guy said i would be having different problems than what was showing up on the scanmaster. I wish i had the space and time to work on the car myself cause that would save me tons of money, but i guess this way is saving me aggrevation, lol
