doing any upgrade, especially one where you learn something is never a waste of time

I know that I would be learning somthing, and thats part of the reason that I want to do it so much, but I mean, performance wise/sound, is it a waste of time?

archemedes 07-22-2005 11:02 PM

debatable, you should get more performance, as for sound that is a big opinion type thing (my father in law says the gp is too loud with stock mufflers)

well i like it loud/want it loud of course :) ... i just have an aftermarket muffler, and my piping is 2.25... i would assume it will make it a little louder, what do you think?

probably, especially if it's a cheap muffler (packing and quiet costs money to build)
