cheap, practcal upgrades for a 305

Like the title says, are there any out there? Im getting a 350 when my motor dies but theres still some life in my 305 so im wondering if theres anything I can do to it.

uhh there are lots of things to do, spark plugs, wires, fuel injector cleaner, ect...other wise I made a thread already asking and everyone was like 350 swap!!!!

Oh I didnt see it, and besides spark plugs, what parts are there that will niticably increase performance?

Intake and carb, then swap it to the 350 when you get it that's what we did

we did a edelbrock performer Intake with a 550 cfm edelborck on top and swaped that to the new crate 350 and works like a dream

intake headers exhaust gears plugs wires. Thats about the most I would put in for cheaper mods.

im with paar. i did all that except an intake. headers, exhaust and gears is your best bet since your gonna swap the engine over all that stuff will be usable for the 350.

depending on what heads you plan on using down the road, vortec heads with their smaller valves do fit inside the small bore of the 305.

you should just go ahead and get the the 35o and take the 305 out now maybe rebuild and clean it and sell it instead of just letting it die
