A 10 bolt are you nuts... GM 10 bolts break as fast as mustangs break trannies
If you do happen to service your rear end a lot, or have a really strong gear set, it'll last a lot longer then stock... but if your gunna throw any sticky tire on... invest in a 12 bolt

and factory 10 bolt will a ls1 basic mods and whatever i know i've done it with a slick and 430 whp s10...4 spd muncie

this is true my 10 bolt with my set have been putting up with a lot of .. ive gone through 2 transmission already and the rear end is still holding up... for how long... that i dont know.
but i know after 500whp the 10 bolts dont last to long with a tire
