clutch problems
i have a 94 3.4L...ive had a problem for about 3 months now. I spent 900 bucks on my transmission...fixed some gears and that stuff...but when i drove my car for a good 5 minutes it gets hard to put into gear. 1st gear is the hardest and i always grind in reverse. i find it a little easier to go to 4th and then to reverse but still it grinds. i dont think im getting enough clutch. i just went out and bought a new master cylinder for the clutch. ive tried bleeding the line too...thinking that there might be some air in it...i got some bubbles but not much...any suggestions or do u think its the master cylinder?

reverse is normal to grind since it doesn't have synchros, has it done it since it was fixed? if so it may not have been fixed right. It could be the slave cylinder, but I wouldn't start there becasue of the prior work. How does it shift with engine off, any binding? If so that eliminates clutch

ok...well i read something about taking the restrictor out of something...so we did that...i ordered the new master cylinder, getting that today. i know that reverse doesnt have any syncros, but it is way worse then it was ...i mean i cant get it into reverse without it grinding like crazy. since right now my car is basically torn apart, and there is no clutch right now i cant check to see if there is binding. and we have already checked the slave cylinder. idk we shall see by tonight. thanks

its not the transmission tho...i dont think it can be...before i got my transmission fixed, it was doing the same thing that its doing now...so i think that eliminates the transmission...its has to be the **** clutch. ahhhhhhhh...now i can't take my car up to school because i leave in 2 days.

archs right again, never throw parts at a car just a waste of time and money and it pisses u off if it dont get fixed...If the trans was redone then I would start to think the clutch but it also could be that something mite not alighn right.
