Cricket.......Cricket......

In the mornings my car sounds like it has a damn cricket under the hood. What the hell is making this sound so that I can replace it?

would you like a list? Pretty much anything with a bearing can make that chirp sound (if I understand what your trying to get across)

Check the condition of your belt. I had an issue like that and sprayed some wd 40 on the belt while running to confirm it went away. Then I just replaced the belt.

wd40 will eat teh belt, it can be used to diagnose, but immediatly replace teh belt and tensioner (it removes oils dry rotting the belt)
