they are cheap enough that if the scratches are deep it would be just as easy as fixing them, and paying someone for the money and time. All you'd have to do is have it painted, or even paint it at home.

Yeah, so thats a major bummer, and I dont really wanna think about it right now.

On a different subject, hows this non name brand intake look from ebay?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
You guys think that would be not as good as name brand?

Another random question, anyone know were to buy a v8 for my car? :P How much ya think one would cost? They are called LS1 right? Or LT1? Whats the difference?

I yearn for z28...Either that or my car with a v8... ...

LT1

And you dont want to put an 8 into your car. Its cheaper to just buy a Z

Normally I say all intakes are the same, but **** is it just me or is the intake FLAT when it comes to the elbow? That's kinda restricting...

Putting a V8 into your car would be very expensive. Like Josh said it would be cheaper to just buy a V8. Unless of course you picked the engine up next to nothing, and got an awesome deal. LT1's are what the 93-97 4th gens had. The LS1 is what the 98-02 F-Bodies had. Here's a thread from before that discusses them, and their differences: http://www.projectcamaro.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=1648

I don't know if I'd go for that intake. If it was me, I'd most likely get something else.

you want as big as possible with as few bends as possible (a 90* bend restricts as much as going from 4in to 1in pipe)

Yeah, so.... If someone wants to go the extra mile and find a sweet CAI on ebay that i could get for cheap, that would be awesome .... and im still tryin to decide to put either flowmaster or magnaflows on my car... oh wait, the SLP loudmouth seems purdy swweet 2...whatta ya guys think?

yes, the taillight covers are illegal. Blackouts in general are illegal. What is your intake budget? Between Magnaflow and Flowmaster, I'd go with Magnaflow. But the Loudmouth is awesome.. that is if you like obnoxiously loud. Which I do, that's whay I have it. The tone is okay(not as nice as Borla or such), but at higher RPMs it will get higher pitched and raspy. I still like it, though. Everyone can always hear me coming.

yep blackouts are for offroad use only (they dim the lights alot and annoy the hell out of me when I'm behind someone with them) cai get the straightest possible brand is kinda insignificant, exhaust well everyone has a preference and all work well

the ones for the V8 are made to take more weight, because of the engine, I believe, so they would fit, but they wouldn't work like they are supposed to. I'd just buy the ones for the v6.
