Exhaust

I'm looking for a 3" to 3" exhaust connector. But I need one of two types:
1.) The conector goes inside one pipe and then over on the other
or
2.) The conector goes inside both pipes.

I know they're out there but for some reason I can't find them. Please post links to where I can buy.
Thanks

Yeah, Im pretty sure any parts store has exhaust pipe converters. I picked one up awhile ago from NAPA, They arent expensive. Well I suppose it depends on how long youre looking for, mine was like 2-5$. Inside Diameter and Outside Diameter is what youre looking for.

exhaust shop can puff out stuff a lot. thats what i had to have done to my bulet muffler. it was the exact same size as my y pipe so i had the muffler puffed up a little to slip over the y pipe.

Ok, first off I've already tried the local places and no one had anything for a 3" exhaust that fit my needs. And second it can't go on top of both sides, it MUST go into the pipe on at least one side. This is why I asked for a link to where it could be found.

Other than this-

I think your only other option would be to go to a shop and have them fab up what you need..

Do you need the extension of the actual pipe or are you trying to join the pipes? If they are the same diameter I would say weld them...

Thanks that's kinda what I've been looking at. They are the same size but they can't be welded, it's a long story but just trust me it can't be done.

Ok- I am assuming that they can't we welded because you can't put the entire piece in as one unit, and you can't get to the top of the pipe to weld it completely-

So-if I am thinking along the correct lines- why not weld 3/4's of the way around and then get a wide band clamp to cover the remainder at the top..
