Best way to solve that problem is to remove the cat.

If your thinking of the same thing I'm thinking of then it should be removed as well once the cat is replaced with a stright pipe.

i had this same problem with my exhaust system, mine used to rattle at idle, real bad. I had checked all heat shields and I even took it to a shop they couldnt find anything. So i just ended up get a pair of headers with an ORY and that solved my problem!

I'm not sure about F-Bods, but in Y-Bods an X-Pipe fixes that. (assuming its not a heat shield or the cat)

Agreed...... but before you remove them, be sure to check your muffler bearings.
