exhaust question

hey guys, i saw caleb's thread about the bullet setup and i just wanted to know how much different a bullet would sound in place of the resonator on the loud mouth catback. i was thinking about doing the swap, let me know what u guys think. thanks

on an lt1 a borla Xr1 muffler on the loudmouth sounds the best

I can vouch for a chambered muffler sounding EXTREMELY nice also. It would fit right in too...

wait, the xr-1 is a chambered muffler? i thought it was just a bullet design

so in comparison, there would be a noticeable sound/tone difference between the resonator that comes on the loudmouth catback and an xr-1 in its place. i was lookin at borlas site and the multicore xr-1 is like $350 and the sportsman xr-1 is around $100-150. is the multicore the one thats chambered and the sportsman just a bullet

I was talking about a actual crimped chambered muffler. Like the ones I got from Sweet Thunder. But I am sure the Borla would sound awesome as well.
