I went to a local car show here in town last Saturday. I won best of show overall. After the show it turned into a cruize. (The show was one of the stops on DJM'S Winter Cruize Tour) They was a pretty nice vette that was there and everybody kept crowding around his car looking at the motor. (I think it was straight piped, cause it was hella loud) Well the show was held in a huge open parking lot, after I cleaned up my car show display, I cranked up the car and had it running. The vette was parked a little ways away. I heard him say something about V6 and I looked over at him and he was looking over towards my car, but I couldn't tell exactly what he was saying. So then I got in the car to put it on the trailer and then I just got this horrible itch to drive it. So I circled around the parking lot creeping and then straightened the car out on one of the rows near the vette, and gave it WOT, it sounded amazing spooling and I let off right as I passed the vette and it blew off and everybodys mouth dropped. Then I parked the car back where it was and popped the hood, everybody including the driver of the vette surrounded the car and was asking ??s. Then I drove it around town with my friend following me, but only for like 10mins. I didn't want to get pulled for having the chrome license plate. LOL. I was shocked that the brakes held up and didn't pop any chrome.

sounds like fun i wish i could drive my car. what did you mean by the brakes popping chrome? im jealous of your car. i really am

I had my brake calipers and my brake rotors taken off and custom triple chrome plated. So I was a little scared of driving on them, I was scared the chrome might get to hot and pop off or mess up, but they still look good after driving on them. I need to get a video camera bad. I wish I had one to video tape my car and get a sound clip of it. But all I have is a old digital camera.
