cheap mods

Are there any cheap mods or even free ones for the v6? Not necessarily mods that create alot of hp, because i know thats not simple, but even something that will make it more snappy and responsive. Im hoping someone could help me out!

It's tought to get the little v-6's to move. I've found that a different muffler only makes the car sound better and not really move any faster. A K&N might pick you up a negligable amount of power and a really cool whistling sound when you step on it!

I don't know if you have a 3.4 or 3.8 but when I had my first Camaro which was a 3.4 I bought an intake, headers, ypipe, 3" cat, and the LM catback. I could instantly feel a difference in power from it. I think the headers did most of that but it really made a difference. In fact I personally felt more of the SOTP feel from installing the exhaust in that car than I did in my LS1.
The other biggest thing I did was install a rear end out of a Trans Am that had 3.73 gears in it. The limited slip really helped out and the gears got the car moving a lot easier as well.

i already have the TSP Rumbler 3" and my CAI is on the way...but i have a problem. i probably should put this in another forum but a mechanic told me that my intake gasket is bad. he said there was some build up/leaking and i can smell antifreeze sometimes when i get out of my car. but the thing is the temperature never gets higher then just over 1/4. is there a rush to get that fixed and do i loose any power/gas milage??

Youre just going to lose coolant little by little. Id keep on eye on your coolant level... If its not dramatically bad, I wouldnt worry about it now. You can just get embarrassed when you drive to car shows like I did when my water pump was going and had some guy walk buy and say "Someones leaking antifreeze" as I was backing in, hahah.

bypassing the coolant into the throttlebody by putting a small hose from one side to the other... Thats not exactly it, but its the just of it. You wont see any huge gain out of it or anything, I belive it just keeps the hot antifreeze out of the TB so it doesnt warm up the air coming in as much.

I might be off, but I remember its somthing like that, correct me if Im wrong.
