finally got my welder out
yes thats right after almost 2 years of owning my welder i finally used it and welded some of my exhaust together. needless to say i suck so far but ill get better. my welder was burning way too hot thats why it has so much spatter. i need to buy a new grinder now to clean these up since i broke my other one. oh well. let me know what you think or w/e. lol

haha shutup. i had no idea about the wire speed lol. i thought the faster the better lol so i had it set on the max. oops. thanks for the tips guys. ill give it another shot on something else for some practice before i try anything important again. this makes me want to get a roll bar even more for my car now...

there should be a general starting point in the side cover (where the wire is) if using flux core (aka you have no bottle) you will get splatter, so if it's something that looks matter get shielding gas first

not to sound like a ***** or anything . And Im really not trying to. But, I wouldnt feel comfortable if I were you with welds like that. I know its on your own car and everything but yes you need alot more practice. I would start with setting the wire speed at half of what you have it now and adjusting it from there in small incriments. And yes it looks like it was too hot also. Like I said man Im not tryin to give you crap. I just do it for a living so just tryin to help.
