run on sentences...cant see what your trying to explain clearly, but im guessing the Walbro doesnt have a componet the stock unit has, so you need an extra hose so it can intake fuel from the sending unit?

sorry lol just in a hurry but yah on my fuel pump there is a little that a small hose goes on and i think it helps pick up fuel when it gets low but a guy said on a walbro or any kind performance pump it wont have that and when i possibly get to a quarter of a tank my car could die cause of no fuel.

you might as well get a factory sending unit to replace it, they are cheaper and you wont have to hassle with moddifications. If anything you can get new fuel injectors ( those are $$$) , and a new fuel filter and call it good. Save you the hassle of something your not prepared to do, unless you are, by all means go ahead with it, im not going to stop ya.

the walboro is not the best pump out there, you will need to keep the tank over half full with it. Also hope it lasts, there are alot of guys with grand prixs and towing bills from those pumps (they use the same as the fbody) you also don't need to upgrade unless your making over I think 600 hp or so (a guy with a gp is in the 9's on a stock gtp fuel pump)

because the walboro pump is designed for it to not pickup if the tank is about 1/4 full, you can run nitrous with the stock pump no problem many do it, and it's actually safer than the walboro since it has issues with pickup
