Gear Drive Question...Arch lol
I donno why i didnt check this earlier, but i was running a pete jackson gear drive (quiet, since its the only one they make for hydro roller cams :banghead: ) when i had my 355 motor and my zz4 cam. Now like i said i just finally tried to put that gear drive on my solid roller cam and it did not fit. I figured since they were both roller it would work but i guess not. So am i right in assuming solid flat tappet, hydraulic flat tappet, and solid roller use the same "bolt pattern" if you will for where the cam gear goes and hydraulic rollers are the only ones that are different? Reason im asking is cuz well i need to get another one...stupid question i know cuz theres only 2 HAHA, one for a OEM hydraulic roller cam, and one for NOT an OEM hydraulic roller cam...sorry 4 the question thats not even really a question. Just kinda sux i cant use my old gear drive when the thing cost me 150 bux. :banghead:

i wonder if the retro fit hydraulic roller cams use the older style cam fitting as well. Its probably just a retrofitish solid roller cam
anywayz i wish i had a cheap old sprocket off a cam so i could try it on there. Oh wellz, ill go ask to look at the one kragen has
