make some sense please...what is it youre trying to find out?

i found out that i had 3.42s before i found that site i posted cuz i just counted my ring teeth, counted my pinion teeth, 41 / 12 = 3.416

my z28 has 3.73s I have a second set for a diffrent carrier, iwant to know if they will fit my dads SS... to do that I need to know what gears are in his cars... 3.08 in lower is a diffrent carrier then 3.23 and up.
