I got a quote on a engine rebuild this morning for Tampa Engine Lab. They gave me a couple different one on different opitons installed is $3900 just a rebuild and me installing is $2590 With an upgraded cam and port and poilshed heads, a 3 angle vavle job, balanced rotating assembaly including flexplate and harmonic banacer.

It seems like a pretty good deal to me I will just have them rebuild it and I will install becasue I need new exhuast and lots of odds and ends. But the guy I talked with was VERY helpful I told him I wanted a little better cam than stcok and he read like 4 different cams to me and help me pick the best one. When I get it rebuilt I will definatally use them becasue they were VERY NICE AND HELPFUL!

for that price buy a crate engine from edelbrock it will be a bit cheaper and have been dyno tested

I thought all crate motors are like 4000 and up?
