HAHA! you have a v8 and i dont!

Yes...you read that right, i went from 3.8 to LT1 to back to 3.8 in 3 days. My z couldnt pass emissions, it failed all of the tests except the gas cap test. So we gave it back to the dealer and i got my car back from my moms friend. to get it fixed itd be 1400 (estimate from auto shop) So yah guys...im back to having a v6 and am looking for anther Z. Gimme a few weeks. wish me luck :(

LT1: December 4th 2004 - December 6th 2004

:banghead:

I'm glad you got your car back that Z just had to many problems. The biggest advice I can give you is TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't ever buy a car on the spot. It took me several months to find my Camaro and I haven't regretted waiting for the car I really wanted once.

Meh i suppose your right. im waiting for one on autotrader to come around thats in good condition and NOT a vert. Thanks for bein cool about it. I drove my new one to school yesterday...it felt awesome, burnouts in the parking lot and ****...and today i pull up in the 6...its like owning a civic :(

I know it's hard. Whenever I drive my winter beater (Corsica) I feel like an idiot but it's better than driving the Camaro in the snow and ice plus I get all the time in the world to work on my mods.

why are you concentrating on autotrader? check the papers in your area the large one have websites with the classifieds and you won't be paying the extra for the fees, the best deals are never found in a magazine. By the way glad it's worked out for you

yea man glad it worked out, Dont buy somethin to buy it, like i said cash is king, wait till u find something u reallly enjoy and want, took me 5 months to find my car..

emissions > you

I love the fact we have no emission laws here. :)

i think god did you a favor my friend, not to sound mean or like extremely religous.

Not to start a LT1 vs LS1 war, but did you ever consider looking for a 98 Z28?? They arent that expensive any more, and bang for the buck an LS1 is going to give you more ponies... Plus, you can get a car with less miles generally...

Is insurance that different from an LT to an LS???

Again, not trying to start an LT vs. LS war, just posing an idea...

always a good i dea, sometimes i wish i got an Ls1 instead of a lt1
