Headlight motor
Hia, I have to replace the gear in my headlight motor. I only did one side when I bought the two brass gear replacements awhile back. Anyone know what epoxy to use on the motor housing to glue it back together? I had two little tubes that came with the gears and used them both on the first job. I didn't want to get the wrong kind of glue and have it eat the plastic or not hold it together. Thanks

sweet you got brents brass gears. i want some.
i think you can simply use any super glue that works with plastic. i dont see how there could be much heat on that part of the case. otherwise clear rtv silicone. that should work fine.

Well, had a chance to give it a closer look, and the motor thats acting up again is the one that I put the replacement gear in. I know the brass gear didn't strip (unlikely) I cant remember if the gear it meshes to is plastic. You guys remember? I don't want to dig into it until I have the part to fix it. May have to make a salvage run. Let me know OK?
