This may sound retarded, but when I turn on my hi beams, are the low beams supposed to turn off or stay on? My old cutlass, both sets were on, my truck, just the hi's would be on...my camaro...one side is hi only, the other is both, but the low is really dim???Confusing the crap out of me I tell ya. I also want other's opinions on different headlights. Mine seem to suck plain and simple and I was surfing ebay and found these, what do you think?

Those headlight are awesome i would get them. When i turn on my highs the other ones stay on and stay the same brightness also. It's just like adding 2 lights. I don't know what could be wrong with yours. -Matt

I don't remeber if my 3rd gen ones stayed on or not, but I know the light output sucked (sealed beams suck no matter what you do to them) I would do the coversion to composite (like on newer cars) the kits sell for about $50 or so, and then use the 9004 bulb which has a ton of options for brighter bulbs
