If your going for boost then go with the Trickflows since they drop compression about one full point. If you want to keep stock compression with Trickflow heads you will have to have the heads milled.

Edlebrock heads are decent but for the money your really not getting any gains worth while.

IMO go with LE heads or yet maybe some AFR heads. Is their any chance you will use the stock castings? Contrary to popular belief the LT1 heads are not junk and if you know someone you can do some good head work you will be able to get a lot of power out of stock castings.

actually the heads have been sold with the motor that was in teh Z. so what my plans are is some nitrous and a 355 rebuild. so am wanting to make my power on the valve train. i want to do it on a small budget but make some nice gains

If you can get your hands on a complete motor for the rebuild then I would go with the stock castings.

Or look into something like the AFR 180CC street runners if you have no heads.

Off the top of my head I would say a hotcam or a CC305 would be a good choice. Their small but at the same time can make good power across the band.

If you need a whole head and cam package then you may want to check out the LE setups.

i've always been a fan of that hotcam...

personally though i'd like to do a CC305 on mine. to me, anything from GM isnt going to maximize performance like an aftermarket part. its probably not true, but thats what i think of when i compare a GM performance part to an aftermarket performance part.

He offers a head and cam combo in three different stages. I know on the larger boards a large number of people have done business with him and have nothing but good things to say.

Yep and the 1LE setup could almost be considered a stealth setup since it is so small.
