I like my catback but I'm looking to go louder now. I have been looking at the TSP Rumbler but since I want to do headers anyway I will just wait and see what happens after I install headers. For those that have installed LT's, what kind of volume increase did you see?

Don't know for the LT1 but I loved the sound with my LT's, ORY, and TSP Rumbler. Wasn't to loud but it sounded really good so I'm sure it'll sound even better on the LT1.

you will see an increase especially w/out the cats, 69z-28's is loud, but not too loud outside of the car, but it resonates quite a bit inside the car (It dumps b4 the axel), w/ a full exhaust you don't have to worry about it being too loud or too much resonance.

P.S. 69z's sounds awsome

Anyone know a site with good sound clips besides ls1sounds.com? I heard a Borla cat back on a Mach 1 today and it was one of the meanest sounds I have ever heard.

yea mines not horrible outside ESPECIALLY at idle, cant tell much. but when you start getting past 2,500 people will know. any car that has a turndown or anything without rear exiting tailpipes will be much louder inside. if you do no cat with any muffler and exhaust manifolds or headers, its gonna be much louder. i dont think people realize how much a cat actually quiets an exhaust. BTW i can maybe get a sound clip if you want, of the Hookers, ORY and bullet before the axle.

See that is why I will never run turn downs. The interior noise gets old after a while.

and especially on trans ams or ground effected camaros the rear bumper has a cutout for exhaust...it would look dumb dumping.
