i did it..
i finally took the plunge... some guy pissed me off bad enough that i actually hooked up the nitrous kit thats been sitting in my room for about 2 months and beat him ... now i think im addicted. ive been doing a lot of research into window switches and stuff like that because my car wouldnt shift on its own while spraying. ive really been looking at the mallory 685 ignition but i hear the MSD 6A is good also. anyone on here have any experience with either of the two and what are the pros and cons of each?

I wouldn't go much more than 125 if even that. Are you using a dry or wet system?
The 6A is pretty popular and is a decent ignition box. In addition to the window switch, I would also get a Fuel pressure safety switch. You start runnin low on fuel and are still sprayin, you will get to rebuild your motor.

ya i dont plan on spraying any more until its all hooked up right.. the mallory 685 ignition has a built in window switch, fuel pressure safety switch and will automatically retard ur timing and all that good stuff.. im really leaning towards the mallory just gotta see what kinda deal i can get on one.

ya i 100% will not be spraying any more wihtout the new equipment to do it safely..i just got called out by a challenger that just got rebuilt and is spraying a 200 shot but i turned him down even tho im being called a on the local board... i really got lucky that i didnt mess anything up. i was running platnum plugs, didnt retard the timing or anything. i was being stupid because i take racing too seriously but im not gonna push my luck any more. safety first, anyone know where i can get a cheap fire extinguisher? that challenger better hope his car is running right when i get my new goodies hooked up
