When i put my car in park, i have a 700r4 tranny, when i stopped put the car in park and let of the brake my car rolls like 6 inches and thunks... And its driving me NUTS! I thought of using the E-Brake but i like putting the car in park and getting out.. Anyhow, does anyone know how many miles you can put on a tranny before you should replace the fluid and filter? I know autos do this but.. this is driving me nuts!

fluid and filter should be done about every 15,000 miles, also if you let the car idel before you put it in park ( completely settle for a few seconds) it won't roll as much

well my car has a High idle, when i shift to R or D my car almost dies and then Revs WAY up sometimes i spin tires.. but this only happens once in a while.. But while i have it in D or R let completely off the brake my car goes 15 miles per hour steady.. I have TBI, and dont know if i am at too high of an idle or need fluid change.. but when the cars is warm/hot is idles around 800 to 1000 rpm.. but when i first start the car for about a half an hour not being drivin its at 1500-2000 I cant really remember but its quite high.. has a Super turbo muffler on it.. what ever that is.. the car has good PIck up though.. shifts good..

you have the cold start circuit activated it sounds like, it's normal to idle high when first started

Oh Sweet, i like talking to people who know whats going on! So i really should start my car 5 minutes before driving..

it would help, you may have a vaccuum leak agrivating it
