adam youre such a noob to the performance world. you have LTs with mufflers. if you wanna get louder you'd need heads, cam, and no mufflers. thats much louder than you have now.

X2, true duals with a pair of mufflers are more quiet than the Loudmouth I think.

Just to reask a question?? Why do you want it to be that loud?? It does get annoying to have it that loud- trust me.

the mufflers are straight through, and it's MUCH louder than the Loudmouth.

yep... my car with loudmouth was louder than the trans am when it hade the true dual full exhaust. Now of course, running open headers with no exhaust, the lm is quieter.... Can't compete with the 79 beastie...lol. but of course, everything depends on the setup of the car and the exhaust. It'll be different from application, to application.

I look at it like this, if I get q loud enough exhaust that will give me a reason to take out my stereo.

Contrary to pouplar belief louder is not better... Flow is better... However, generally the better you flow, the louder it will be... And as NoRice said, it depends on your heads, cam, size of tubing, etc....

But having that loud gets obnoxious after a while... you can't just lay into it whenever you want for fear of being heard for 2 miles... I have been running straight headers for a while, and it gets annoying everyonce in a while...

I would say instead of saying 'Iwant LOUD LOUD LOUD, try to find out what the best flow is, and if it happens to be loud enough then great, if not, get cutouts...

And find someone in your ares with a car with no insulation, and straight headers... Ride in it for a while, then decide if you want loud! lol
