Intake Question

Has anyone here picked up a full intake from an ebay store called Chrome Intakes? I have been looking at one of their auctions and I was curious if anyone has had any experience with these guys? Heres the auction I have been looking at. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-95...87632505QQrdZ1

I havnt dealt with them, but im sure they are about the same as anything else you'll find on ebay. Its just one of the usual CAI's you'll find.

I sprung a little extra money for the real K&N FIPK CAI which might give a couple more horses and doesnt look so... 'blingy'.

The only thing I like about them is their catchy jingle.

Yeah, I bought from that same company the full Chrome CAI for my old V6. It worked great and saved me some bucks from the brand named CAI's. I would say go for it...

Here's my old V6 with it:

I think the horsepower difference from this to a brand name CAI is minimal, if at all.

i just installed a CAI from them and it looks good and works good but thier service sucks. it took about...4 weeks until i got the correct parts. when they say they are going to do somthing they dont, at least not with me. could be just a bad experience but its a good product for the price.

I recieved the intake parts in the mail yesterday. I was surprised they had cut a hole for the IAT sensor and added a little pipe for the vacuum line. I figured I would have to do that stuff myself.

Heres some pics of the pipes and the filter. I'll post up another pic when I get it all installed this weekend.

Sweet dude. Now clean up the engine bay a little bit... The whole extremely dirty look to shiney chrome kinda throws ya off.
