leak

leak

i have a water leak under my car leaks onto my header or y pipe cuz when i shut my car off you can hear a sizzel sound (water hitting exhast pipe) but i had the heater core changed and it still does it it leaks onto my passanger side header/ypipe and i dont knwo what it could be???????

ok...first off...periods do wonders in making a fragment a beautiful sentence secondly, if theyre stock, they are called manifolds. headers are aftermarket...with that being said...have you actually looked under the hood for anything leaking? if the heater core was just changed the hoses are most likely not connected all the way. i'd take it back to who did it and tell em theres a leak. the heater hoses are the only thing above the manifold. it might be a head gasket and the coolant is leaking through somehow and onto the y-pipe, but if the head gasket was bad there would be serious overheating problem and lack of performance.

are you running a/c? if so check that it's not just teh drain for that, you have to look and see where it's coming from
