Loud Pop
This morning I was leaving my neighborhood and I didn't let the engine warm up so it was really cold. Like an idiot I pulled out of my neighborhood and got on it. As I got to 3500 RPM I heard two loud pops coming from under the hood, passenger side. At first I thought I blew the exhaust manifold gasket, but after audibly inspecting it it wasn't that. My guess now is that it was just a misfire, but can that happen on an electronic ignition?

Would the fact you have no catalitic converter have anything to do with that?
