My rear end sure is squeaky! Is that normal for a Camaro? It's so loud that people turn their heads when I go over speed bumps. Here is a link to a wave file that was recorded while I pushed down on the rear of my Z28 a few times. I didn't push real hard.

WTF your sure that isn't a saw cutting wood in that wav? Sounds like your shocks are toast.

its probably bushings, but those rear shocks are cheap and an easy install so might as well do em same time.

if you have poly bushings they make that sound, check for wear, if everything looks good spray some silicone spray on the bushings (if they are rubber and ballooning at all replace them)

I think you made a mistake... Sounds more like a wav of someone bottoming out their gf

to answer your question, a squeaky rear end on a z is normal.... but NOT like that. normal squeaking typcially occurs on curves from brake components rubbing.
