describe weird? Read the manual it will have a temperature range, trust me the enging had mobile 10w30 at the factory

a bunch of us here were just having this discussion the other day. what tends to be the average oil pressure in our cars, and what constitutes an abnormal oil pressure?

If I remeber correctly 30psi at idle is spec

well the oil pressure would drop down to zero during hot days and the check gages light came on. i switched back to 5W-30 and its fine now. and the manual does have a temp range thing and 5W-30 is best for me.
