I'm still relatively new to the LS1, I want to get 450whp+ out of it . I guess I'm asking for opinions on how to achieve this, basically what combo's could I try ? I was thinking :

Ported LS6 heads w/ valvetrain to hold up to .650 lift
LS6 intake or LSX Intake w/ fast 90mm TB
High lift cam- don't know what specs yet !
42lb injectors & walbro FP
Some tuning !

Any help would be deeply appreciated !

With those mods based on the cam you could hit the 450rwhp mark without to much trouble.
The problem comes in choosing the right setup for you. Do you want all out power or do you care more about low end torque? Personally I care more about the low end since I don't race my car over simply getting the most power I can out of my car.

I think I like the torque more so ! It is what move you right ? I know LS6/LS2 heads are 64cc so that should put my compression at 10.3:1 ! I guess the last thing would be cam selection.
