well, twins, you can have one small and one big, so the small one will kick in real fast with almost no lag and the big one will give u top end, but nowadays turbo lag isnt raelly big, they fixed a lot of that with most turbos. single turbo is cool but twin turbo is cooler but either way i would rather have a blower.

Are you sure about the differnt sizes on turbos in a twin setup? that doesn't make any sense to me. It would be like having a twin plenum intake manifold that fed each bank of the engine, and spraying a 100shot of nitrous on one side, and 150 shot on the other, because there is no crossover pipe with a twin set-up. And granted that the torque that a V-8 makes and the fact that any decent turbo head unit these days is ball bearing does get rid of much of the lag, but there is less with a twin set-up because of the smaller turbine which needs less rpm to begin spooling.

well you can have 2 of the same but its kinda smarter at least IMO to have a smaller and then a bigger for the reasons i mentioned. idk all that much but it makes more sense than 2 regular same sized turbos. like i said before id rather be blown.lol

No, as far as i know, it ISN'T POSSIBLE for the reasons I stated. Either one turbo that is approx. twice as large, or 2 turbos which would be half the size. I am curious however as to somewhere that i could find info on this set-up with 2 different sized turbos. You may be right, but to my knowledge it can't be done.

I've never seen 2 different sizes what banks does is the blades are variable pitch (they actually move inside the housing) he holds most speed records for turbo charged vehicles so I figure he knows what works best
