On the way home tonight and I noticed that the seat belt light was on. I checked my seat belt and it was hooked so I undid it and put it back in and the light stayed on.

The light went off only when I turned of the car. Can anybody help!

did you try re-starting the car? if so, did the light come back on or stay on? ..if so, look and see if there is a connector somewhere next to the belt catch beside your seat ...disconnect it won't hurt ne thing.
